West Virginia Unveils 2025 Big 12 Volleyball Schedule

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The West Virginia University Department of Intercollegiate Athletics and the volleyball team, in conjunction with the Big 12 Conference, released the 2025 conference schedule on Monday afternoon.
West Virginia's 2025 conference slate features nine home matches inside of the WVU Coliseum in Morgantown. WVU will welcome two opponents, including Colorado and Utah, to Morgantown for the first time.
The Mountaineers open conference play on the road against Cincinnati on Saturday, Sept. 27, in Cincinnati, Ohio.
West Virginia then returns home for a three-game home stretch, beginning with Kansas State on Wednesday, Oct. 1 in Morgantown. WVU then takes on BYU on Friday, Oct. 3 followed by Cincinnati on Wednesday, Oct. 8.
WVU then begins its first road swing of the season, visiting UCF in Orlando, Florida on Sunday, Oct. 12. The Mountaineers then travel to Ames, Iowa to face Iowa State on Thursday, Oct. 16 and conclude the weekend with a trip to Colorado to battle the Buffs on Saturday, Oct. 18.
The Mountaineers return home to welcome Utah to Morgantown for the first time in program history on Friday, Oct. 24. West Virginia then faces Houston on Thursday, Oct. 30 and concludes the home stand with Kansas on Saturday, Nov. 1.
West Virginia heads to the state of Texas for a familiar road swing, facing Baylor on Friday, Nov. 7 in Waco. The Mountaineers trek on to battle TCU in Fort Worth on Sunday, Nov. 9. WVU concludes their visit to Texas on Wednesday, Nov. 12 in Lubbock against Texas Tech.
Conference play resumes in Morgantown, with a three game home stretch beginning on Friday, Nov. 14 versus UCF. Then, Colorado will make their first trip in program history to the WVU Coliseum on Wednesday, Nov. 19. West Virginia's closes out home play on Friday, Nov. 21, hosting Iowa State.
The Mountaineers will conclude the regular season with a trip to the state of Arizona, first facing off against Arizona in Tucson on Wednesday, Nov. 26. West Virginia will take on Arizona State in the final regular match of the season in Tempe on Saturday, Nov. 29.
West Virginia's 2025 nonconference schedule will be released at a later date. All dates, times and locations are subject to change.
