MORGANTOWN, W.Va. - The West Virginia University volleyball team (15–14, 3–14 Big 12) was defeated by Arizona (15–12, 9–8 Big 12) in straight sets Wednesday night in Tucson, Arizona. The match concluded with set scores of 16–25, 22–25, and 12–25.
The Mountaineers were unable to find their footing in the contest, dropping all three frames despite flashes of offensive rhythm. The third set proved decisive, as WVU's offense dipped with just 6 kills on 31 attempts, closing the match on a low note.
