
Sheridan Named to All-Big 12 Second Team

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. - Redshirt junior opposite Trinity Sheridan of the West Virginia Volleyball team has been named to the All-Big 12 Conference Second Team, the league announced Tuesday.
The honor marks Sheridan's first Big 12 accolade and her second overall, as she previously earned All-Big West Second Team honors at UC Riverside in 2024. She becomes the first Mountaineer to be recognized on the All-Big 12 Team since 2021.
A native of Crystal Lake, Illinois, Sheridan finished the 2025 season with 318 kills across 114 sets, averaging 2.79 kills per set while hitting at a .263 clip. She added 78 digs, 71 total blocks and 360.5 points, showcasing her versatility. Her balanced production helped WVU secure its best record since 2021.
In her first season in the conference, Sheridan recorded 212 kills in 72 sets for an average of 2.94 kills per set, while contributing four assists, five service aces, 57 digs and 47 total blocks. She had double digit kills in 14 conference games.
Sheridan's season featured several standout performances, including season-high 23 kills at Texas Tech on Nov. 12, 17 kills against Utah on Oct. 24 and 14 kills at Baylor on Nov. 7. She hit over .500 for three consecutive games in nonconference play.
With Sheridan's selection, West Virginia's total number of All-Big 12 accolades moves to 13 since the Mountaineers joined the conference in 2012.
