Trio Earns CSC Academic All-District Honors

Morgantown, W.Va – Three members of the West Virginia University volleyball team were named to the 2025 College Sport Communicators Academic All-District Team, the organization announced Tuesday.
Redshirt junior setter Alexis Finnvold (Business), junior outside hitter Nina Horning (Integrated Studies), and sophomore defensive specialist/libero Eily Painter (Animal & Nutritional Studies) each earned their first CSC Academic honors as Mountaineers.
The College Sports Communicators Academic All-District award honors the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America program separately recognizes volleyball honorees in each of the four divisions listed as NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
