MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Due to inclement weather expected in the Morgantown area, tonight's baseball game between No. 17 West Virginia University and George Washington has been canceled.
The two teams will conclude the three-game series, and the regular season, with a single game as scheduled on Saturday, at 2 p.m. ET.
Fans with tickets to Friday's game may exchange them for Saturday's contest at the Monongalia County Ballpark ticket windows. Tickets for the regular-season finale also are available for purchase at
WVUGAME.com or on game day at the ballpark. Admission for WVU students is free with a valid student I.D.
Prior to Saturday's game, seniors
Ivan Gonzalez,
Darius Hill,
Zach Reid and
Andrew Zitel will be recognized, and WVU graduates Hill, Reid, Zitel, senior
Braden Zarbnisky and juniors
Chase Illig,
TJ Lake,
Dillon Meadows and
Cody Wood will be honored. Senior Day and graduation ceremonies will begin at approximately 1:40 p.m.
Saturday also is Armed Forces Day, with all active and retired military members eligible to receive a discounted $3 ticket by showing a valid military I.D. Additionally, there will be postgame autographs, and kids can run the bases after the game.

West Virginia opened the series with a
