• Named to the Academic All-Big 12 Second Team
• Played in 41 games with 23 starts, 12 as catcher and 11 as the designated hitter
• Finished fifth on the team with five home runs, hit .206 with 21 hits, 17 RBIs, four doubles, 14 runs scored, 10 walks, a .392 slugging percentage, a .277 on-base percentage and two stolen bases in four attempts
• Tied for the team lead with four game-winning hits, three coming when WVU was trailing or tied
• Was fifth on the team with six multi-RBI games and had two multi-hit contests
• Recorded a career-high six-game hit streak, from April 6-15
• Had two hits, two RBIs and a run scored on April 14 vs. Oklahoma State
• Hit a 10th-inning, walk-off RBI single at PNC Park in a 3-2 win over Penn State on April 10
• Came off the bench and had a pinch-hit, three-RBI double on April 6 in a win over UNLV
• Hit a two-run home run that proved to be the game-winner in WVU’s 2-0 win over Canisius on March 17
• Drove in the tying and game-winning runs with a three-run homer in the eighth inning to lead West Virginia to a 7-5 win at Western Kentucky on March 2, and added a two-run home run the following day
• Homered for the eventual game-winning run and added a double and a walk in a 5-4 win on Feb. 16 at Jacksonville

2017 (Redshirt Freshman)

• Named to the Academic All-Big 12 First Team
• Played in 39 games with 24 starts, 22 as catcher and two as the designated hitter
• Posted a .995 fielding percentage, which ranks No. 9 in a single season in program history
• Hit .242 with 22 hits, 18 RBIs, 19 walks, three home runs, three doubles and a triple while posting a .396 slugging percentage and a .389 on-base percentage
• Had two game-winning hits
• Had seven multi-hit games and five multi-RBI contests
• Had a three-game hitting streak and reached base in 10 consecutive games in 2017
• Went 2-for-3 with two RBIs and a double on May 20 at Texas
• Drove in the game-winning run with a fourth-inning double while notching two hits and two RBIs in WVU’s win at PNC Park against Penn State on May 10
• Hit a grand slam, had a career-best four RBIs, walked twice and scored two runs in WVU’s series-clinching win at No. 23 Oklahoma State on April 2
• Homered, walked and was 2-for-2 on March 25 vs. Jacksonville
• Had his first career hit and RBI driving in the game-winning run with a triple as part of a 2-hit game at Nicholls on March 2

• Redshirted after transferring to WVU from the College of Charleston prior to the spring semester
