Baseball: Prospect Identification Camp

Open to any and all entrants in the classes of 2026, 2027, 2028, 2029 and all eligible JUCO players
Time: Camp will run from approximately 9 AM to 7 PM (subject to change)
Location: Kendrick Family Ballpark (2040 Gyorko Drive, Granville, WV 26534)
Inclement Weather Location: Caperton Indoor Practice Facility (3 Ira Errett Rodgers Dr, Morgantown, WV 26505)
Base Tuition: $300 per camper, includes a camp t-shirt and no pitching biomechanics assessment.
Pitching Biomechanics Assessment Package + Tuition: $400 per camper includes the pitching biomechanics assessment and feedback.
The Pitching Biomechanics Assessment Package will include data feedback from the Biomechanics and Performance Center along with custom individual data reports from the pitches thrown inside the Center. $400 is all inclusive and includes both the reports and tuition to the camp.
Communication: Email will be the primary form of communication used for this camp, updates will be sent out periodically leading up to camp.
Our full day prospect identification camp allow players the opportunity to be instructed and evaluated by The West Virginia University baseball coaching staff and other college staffs in attendance. Players will be taken through a pro-style work out, complete with batting practice and defensive evaluation. The camp also consists of detailed instruction at each position and in all aspects of the game. Players will also compete in an organized scrimmage with live pitching to showcase their abilities in front of all coaches in attendance. Players will also tour facilities and receive a presentation from Coach Sabins. This is not an overnight camp; players are responsible for their own hotel and transportation arrangements.
Equipment: Metal spikes are NOT permitted for this event. Kendrick Family Ballpark is an all turf field, including the mounds. Please wear molded cleats or turf shoes. Bats may be either metal (BBCOR) or wood. Pitchers please bring turf shoes or tennis shoes to wear inside the Biomechanics and Performance Center

Our Fall Youth Camp features a day of fun filled games, instruction, and interaction with the players and coaches who are a part of Mountaineer Baseball! This camp is designed to help each child develop their overall fundamentals and skills in the game of baseball. Campers will enjoy various drills and friendly competition throughout the day with the enjoyment of the game in mind. Skills will be taught in all positions, including: infield, outfield, pitching and hitting. Each camper will need to bring his own equipment (baseball pants, gloves, bat, helmet, cleats, etc.).
Lunch: Food will not be provided, but there will be a 1 hour break for lunch from approximately Noon-1PM

BPC Technology Bullpen
Reoccurring Camp – sessions offered based on staff availability starting Friday September 12.
Open to any and all entrants in grades 8 or above, including JUCO/college/professional baseball
Time: Campers will receive a 30 minute session inside the Biomechanics and Performance Center
Location: Biomechanics Performance Center at Kendrick Family Ballpark (2040 Gyorko Drive, Granville, WV 26534)
Tuition: 2 options: $100 for TrackMan report only, $250 for TrackMan, KinaTrax, and NewtForce (Motion Capture) report. Please email nathanael.rorie@mail.wvu.edu PRIOR to signing up to confirm availability of the staff during a time you can participate.

Our BPC bullpen session is designed for individual campers to receive instruction and feedback in the new WVU BPC
Equipment: Metal and molded spikes are NOT permitted, please bring sneakers/turfs.
Refunds: No refunds or credits will be offered for this camp. Refunds will not be provided if the camper cannot attend during a time when the staff is available for the camp.

BPC Team Bullpen/Hitting Session
Reoccurring Camp – Weekly Sessions Offered. First session available starting Wednesday 9/3
Open to any and all entrants
Time: Teams will receive a 90 minute weekly session inside the Biomechanics and Performance Center. The schedule is to be set in accordance with facility/staff availability and may not be in consecutive weeks.

Tuition: $500 per camper (includes taxes) for an 8 session package, minimum of 10 registrants per team. Registration fees are payable only via check. Please email

Our BPC Team bullpen/hitting session is designed for teams to utilize the brand new Biomechanics and Performance Center at Kendrick Family Ballpark with WVU Baseball staff members present to provide activities designed to improve overall skills and general knowledge of baseball.
