Summer Youth Camp
Session 1: June 22-24, 2026
Session 2: July 13-15, 2026
There are 3 options to sign-up, you may sign up for June 22-24, July 13-15, or both sessions at the discounted rate. Please make sure you select the correct camp session after you click register below
Open to any and all entrants ages 5-12
Time: Camp will run from approximately 9 AM to Noon each day
Location: Kendrick Family Ballpark (2040 Gyorko Drive, Granville, WV 26534)
Tuition: $300 per camper per session, $500 per camper for both sessions if signed up before June 15th, 2026. Includes a camp t-shirt and commemorative baseball for autographs!
Communication: Email will be the primary form of communication used for this camp, updates will be sent out periodically leading up to camp.
The annual Summer Youth Camps feature 3 days per session of fun filled games, instruction, and interaction with the players and coaches who are a part of Mountaineer Baseball! This camp is designed to help each child develop their overall fundamentals and skills in the game of baseball. Campers will enjoy various drills and friendly competition throughout the week with the enjoyment of the game in mind. Skills will be taught in all positions by WVU Baseball Players and Coaches, including: infield, outfield, pitching and hitting. Each camper will need to bring his/her own equipment (baseball pants, gloves, bat, helmet, cleats, etc.).
Parents may stay and watch during camp or drop off and return at the conclusion of each day.

Prospect Identification Camp - Summer
Friday July 31, 2026
Open to any and all entrants in the classes of 2027, 2028, 2029, 2030, and eligible JUCO/Transfer College Players
Time: Camp will run from approximately 9 AM to 7 PM (subject to change)
Location: Kendrick Family Ballpark (2040 Gyorko Drive, Granville, WV 26534), Anker Fields at Mylan Park (300 Mylan Park Ln, Morgantown, WV 26501)
Pricing: There are multiple options, please ensure you pick the right option when registering. All options include 1 camp t-shirt per camper
$250 for pitcher only
$250 for position player
$300 for both pitching and position
$125 add on for Biomechanics Session which will take place the evening of July 30th (start time TBD), this is valued at $400 if done outside of this camp! For this session, you will participate in a motion capture pitching/hitting session at the WVU Biomechanics and Performance Center and receive your data reports/feedback from the session. Turf shoes are required to be worn inside the Biomechanics and Performance Center.

Our full day prospect identification camps allow players the opportunity to be instructed and evaluated by The West Virginia University baseball coaching staff and other college staffs in attendance. Players will be taken through a pro-style work out, complete with batting practice and defensive evaluation. The camp also consists of detailed instruction at each position and in all aspects of the game. Players will also compete in an organized scrimmage with live pitching to showcase their abilities in front of all coaches in attendance. Players will tour the baseball facilities and receive a presentation from Coach Sabins. This is not an overnight camp; players are responsible for their own hotel and transportation arrangements.
Equipment: Equipment: Metal spikes are NOT permitted for this event. Kendrick Family Ballpark is an all turf field, including the mounds. Please wear molded cleats or turf shoes. Bats may be either metal (BBCOR) or wood.
Parents/families can stay and spectate camp

Middle School Pitching/Hitting Camp
Sunday August 9th, 2026
Pitching Session: 9 AM to Noon
Hitting Session: 1 PM to 4 PM
Open to any and all entrants who are entering 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th grades
Location: Kendrick Family Ballpark (2040 Gyorko Drive, Granville, WV 26534)
Tuition: $100 per session, includes 1 camp t-shirt. Please note you may sign up for the both session option, or select the single session option and select which session you want to attend.

Our Middle School Pitching/Hitting camp offers campers the chance to be instructed by the West Virginia Baseball Coaching staff and utilize the brand new WVU Baseball Indoor Facility at the ballpark. Both pitching and hitting sessions will feature foundational instructions for skill techniques, with an introduction into basic pitch design/swing mechanics. This is not an overnight camp; players are responsible for their own hotel and transportation arrangements.

Traveling Youth Camps will be in full swing for the summer of 2026! Campers will be led by WVU Staff members and feature current players of the WVU Baseball team. This camp is designed to teach and further each campers fundamentals and skills in the game of baseball. During camp, campers will enjoy various drills and friendly competition throughout the day while keeping the enjoyment of the game in mind! Skills taught throughout the day will include, Pitching, Hitting, Infield, Outfield and Baserunning
