This camp is designed for high level school/travel teams to compete and learn the game in front of multiple collegiate coaches throughout the weekend. Games, instruction, and facilities tours will be offered as the schedule permits during the camp. Our game length will be 2 hours and 45 minutes per game of up to 9 innings, and each team will play 2 games in the event. Additionally, there will be an optional (but included in the cost per team) “pro-style workout” offered Friday night 8/28. Each camper will have the opportunity for 1 biomechanics assessment (choice of hitting or pitching) on Friday 8/28.
Cost: $500 + tax as a non-refundable deposit is due to reserve your team’s spot. The remaining balance of $1,000 + tax per team will be due no later than 8/21/26 (game balls not included). Online registration accepts credit cards only, to pay by check please contact joey.cuomo@mail.wvu.edu.
Field Locations: Games will be played at both Kendrick Family Ballpark (2040 Gyorko Dr, Granville, WV 26534) and Anker Fields Complex at Mylan Park (300 Mylan Park Ln, Morgantown, WV 26501), all teams will play 1 scheduled game at Kendrick Family Ballpark and 1 scheduled game at Mylan Park.
Refunds: No refunds or credits will be offered for the $500 deposit. No refunds or credits will be offered to any team that cancels after 8/21/26 (1 week prior to the event).

Prospect Identification Camp - Fall
Saturday November 7th, 2026
Open to any and all entrants in the classes of 2027, 2028, 2029, 2030, and eligible JUCO/Transfer College Players
Time: Camp will run from approximately 9 AM to 7 PM (subject to change)
Location: Kendrick Family Ballpark (2040 Gyorko Drive, Granville, WV 26534), Anker Fields at Mylan Park (300 Mylan Park Ln, Morgantown, WV 26501). Inclement weather location: Caperton IPF (1 Ira Errett Rodgers Dr, Morgantown, WV 26505)
Pricing: There are multiple options, please ensure you pick the right option when registering. All options include 1 camp t-shirt per camper

$150 add on for Biomechanics Session by BioPrecision which will take place the evening of Friday November 6th (start time TBD), this is valued at $400 if done outside of this camp! For this session, you will participate in a motion capture pitching/hitting session at the WVU Biomechanics and Performance Center and receive your data reports/feedback from the session. Turf shoes are required to be worn inside the Biomechanics and Performance Center.
Communication: Email will be the primary form of communication used for this camp, updates will be sent out periodically leading up to camp.
Our full day prospect identification camps allow players the opportunity to be instructed and evaluated by The West Virginia University baseball coaching staff and other college staffs in attendance. Players will be taken through a pro-style work out, complete with batting practice and defensive evaluation. The camp also consists of detailed instruction at each position and in all aspects of the game. Players will also compete in an organized scrimmage with live pitching (weather permitting) to showcase their abilities in front of all coaches in attendance. Players will tour the baseball facilities and receive a presentation from Coach Sabins. This is not an overnight camp; players are responsible for their own hotel and transportation arrangements.
Equipment: Equipment: Metal spikes are NOT permitted for this event. Kendrick Family Ballpark is an all turf field, including the mounds. Please wear molded cleats or turf shoes on the field. Bats may be either metal (BBCOR) or wood. Turf shoes or tennis shoes are required for those participating in the Biomechanics session add on.
Parents/families can stay and spectate camp
Refunds: Credit towards a future camp will be offered to those wishing to cancel their registration.
