West Virginia is 34-4 this season after sweeping Cincinnati this past weekend and has the highest winning percentage in the country at .895. In the latest polls, the Mountaineers sit at No. 9 in Perfect Game, No. 10 in NCBWA, No. 14 in the USA Today Coaches Poll, No. 14 in Baseball America, No. 18 in The Athletic, and No. 17 by D1Baseball, which is recognized by the NCAA.
The Mountaineers currently lead the Big 12 in both ERA (3.72) and scoring (8.8). WVU is also tops in the Big 12 in batting average (.317), hits/9 (6.99), stolen bases (89), stolen bases/game (2.34), and WHIP (1.27).
