MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The West Virginia University baseball team heads to BYU for the first time to take on the Cougars, March 27-29. First pitch on Thursday and Friday are set for 8:30 p.m. ET with Saturday scheduled for 3:30 p.m. ET.

The Mountaineers are in two polls this week, clocking in at No. 16 by Perfect Game and No. 23 by the NCBWA.
West Virginia is currently seventh in the country with a 3.14 staff ERA, which includes seven pitchers with ERA under three. At the plate, they are hitting .309 as a team, 33
rd best in the country and second in the Big 12.

Led by head coach Trent Pratt, the Cougars are 13-9 this season and 3-3 in the Big 12 after taking two of three games from Cincinnati this past weekend.
Bryker Hurdsman leads the team with a .388 batting average while Cooper Vest has a team-high nine home runs and 30 RBI. Payton Gubler is the top starter for BYU with three
wins and a 3.12 ERA.
