MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Senior forward Taylor White of the West Virginia University women's soccer team has been named a 2025 United Soccer Coaches All-American, the organization announced on Friday.
White becomes the 26th Mountaineer in program history to receive an All-America honor, earning a nod on the third team. The honor also marks the first of her career, as well as the first All-America nod for WVU since 2022, when defender Jordan Brewster was selected for her third consecutive campaign.
The Cincinnati, Ohio, native continues to add to her resume following a spectacular senior campaign, as she was named to the All-Big 12 First Team and the United Soccer Coaches All-Midwest Region Team earlier this year.
She finished the year leading West Virginia's offense with 10 goals, 10 assists and 30 points. Her 10 assists this year are tied for fourth in single-season program history. She also paced the squad with four game winners this season. White tallied three braces this year, the most for a player in a single season since Frances Silva recorded four in 2012. She finished her career with 26 goals, 17 assists and 69 points, along with 4,164 minutes played.
With the honor, WVU has now totaled 61 All-America honors all-time. Of note, White's All-America nod marks the first for a West Virginia forward since Michaela Abam was named to the Second Team in 2017.
West Virginia concluded its 30th season this year, as the Mountaineers finished the campaign 14-3-4 overall and made its 24th NCAA Tournament appearance. WVU's 14 wins are its most in a season since 2018, while its 8-0-3 record in Big 12 Conference play marked its third Big 12 campaign and second consecutive with eight wins. The squad secured an unbeaten Big 12 record for the fifth time since joining the conference in 2012 and first since 2016, earning a second-place finish in the league. West Virginia's unbeaten Big 12 campaign was part of a 15-match unbeaten streak that stretched from Aug. 28-Oct. 30 and included 12 wins and three ties.
