MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Senior forward Taylor White, junior defender Nyema Ingleton and sophomore midfielder Maddie Levy of the West Virginia University women's soccer team have been named to the 2025 United Soccer Coaches All-Midwest Region Teams, the organization announced this week.
White led the way on the first team, Ingleton was named to the third team and Levy rounded out the honors on the fourth team. All three honors marked the first All-Region team nods for the trio, while they also received nods on the All-Big 12 teams earlier this year.
A native of Cincinnati, Ohio, White completed a spectacular senior campaign in 2025. She finished the year leading West Virginia's offense with 10 goals, 10 assists and 30 points. Her 10 assists this year are tied for fourth in single-season program history. She also paced the squad with four game winners this season. White tallied three braces this year, the most for a player in a single season since Frances Silva recorded four in 2012. She finished her career with 26 goals, 17 assists and 69 points.
An anchor for the WVU back line, Ingleton led the team with 1,797 minutes played this season, including 13 matches where she played 90 or more minutes. A native of Calgary, Alberta, Canada, she helped the Mountaineer defense tally 11 shutouts this season, including five in Big 12 play and one in the NCAA Tournament. Ingleton also started all 21 matches for the Mountaineers this year.
Levy tied for second on the team with six goals this season, three of which came during Big 12 play. The Manheim, Pennsylvania, native also ranked second with seven assists this season for 19 points on the year. Since earning her first start on Aug. 28, Levy started every match for the Mountaineers the rest of the season, helping the squad tally a 15-match unbeaten streak since making her first start. She also played in all 21 matches this year, tallying 1,047 minutes on the season.
WVU's trio of honorees this season moves its total number of United Soccer Coaches All-Region recipients to 82 selections in program history. Additionally, West Virginia collected three honors for the first time since 2022.
West Virginia concluded its 30th season this year, as the Mountaineers finished the campaign 14-3-4 overall and made its 24th NCAA Tournament appearance. WVU's 14 wins are its most in a season since 2018, while its 8-0-3 record in Big 12 Conference play marked its third Big 12 campaign and second consecutive with eight wins. The squad secured an unbeaten Big 12 record for the fifth time since joining the conference in 2012 and first since 2016, earning a second-place finish in the league. West Virginia's unbeaten Big 12 campaign was part of a 15-match unbeaten streak that stretched from Aug. 28-Oct. 30 and included 12 wins and three ties.
