
Mountaineers Travel to Bucknell on Tuesday

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The No. 6 West Virginia University men's soccer team hits the road for a non-conference matchup with Bucknell, Tuesday, Oct. 1. Kickoff from Emmitt Field at Holmes Stadium is set for 6 p.m.

The Mountaineers are 5-0-3 on the season after earning a point with a scoreless draw against Kentucky on Friday. In the Sun Belt, the Mountaineers are 1-0-1 and sit in second place with four points.
Graduate student Sergio Ors Navarro leads the team and is fourth in the nation with eight goals.
Graduate student Simon Carlson is second on the team with 12 points on four goals and four assists while Caldeira has tallied three goals on the year.
Redshirt senior Marc Bonnaire has made 14 saves in goal for the Mountaineers, collecting five shutouts in the process, including two straight.
Bucknell is 4-3-1 on the season and are coming off a 1-0 victory over American on Saturday.
Seven different players have scored for Bucknell with Jack Lucas also tallying a team-high three assists.
Freddie Lapworth has made 29 saves in goal and registered four shutouts on the season.
