In 2010, the Mountaineers stepped foot on their own training facility, the Men’s Soccer Practice Facility. The 120 x 74 training site features the same custom, natural grass surface as the game field at Dick Dlesk Soccer Stadium and was just resodded in 2018. There is also an additional 34 x 20 attached area to work specifically on technical areas.
Prior to the 2013 season, the West Virginia men’s soccer team moved into a state-of-the-art locker room that is arguably one the best in the country. Along with lockers and a lounge area, the facility also features showers, a study area and tactical boards to help the Mountaineers prepare for training sessions and matches throughout the season.
Between the 2024 and 2025 seasons, the entire field will be re-sod.
