MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – West Virginia resumes Big 12 play tonight in Waco, Texas, when it takes on Baylor in an ESPN Big Monday game that will tip off at 9 p.m.

Most recently, West Virginia (13-7, 2-5) dropped a 77-68 decision at Arkansas during last Saturday's Big 12/SEC Challenge. The Mountaineers battled back from an early 19-point second half deficit to cut the Razorbacks' lead to five but could get no closer.
In the loss, guard
Kedrian Johnson scored a career-high 18 points, including hitting 4 of 5 from 3-point distance.
Taz Sherman scored 15 and Curry added 11 coming off the bench.
West Virginia is in the midst of a season-long five game losing streak.
Baylor (18-3, 6-2) dropped just its third decision of the season last Saturday during its Big 12/SEC Challenge game at Alabama, 87-78. The Bears are 10-2 at the Ferrell Center this year with both defeats coming in Big 12 play.
Baylor lost 65-62 to Texas Tech on Jan. 11 and fell 61-54 to Oklahoma State four days later.

Akinjo, who averages 12.9 points per game, did not play in Baylor's victory in Morgantown two weeks ago.
The Bears own a 13-8 edge in series play and have a 5-3 record against the Mountaineers in games played at the Ferrell Center.
