Football Friday: Kansas Preview

OVERLAND PARK, Kansas - West Virginia begins Big 12 conference play on the road at Memorial Stadium Saturday in Lawrence, Kansas against the 1-2 Jayhawks.
Kansas started the season with a 38-16 victory over Southeast Missouri State and has since dropped games to Central Michigan, 45-27, and to Ohio, 42-30.
West Virginia improved to 2-1 following last Saturday's 59-16 victory over Delaware State. The Mountaineers lost 31-24 to Virginia Tech in the season opener at FedEx Field in Landover, Maryland and defeated East Carolina, 56-20, two weekends ago in Morgantown.
ESPNU (Mike Couzens and John Congemi) will televise the game nationally while Mountaineer Sports Network from IMG radio coverage kicks off at 8:30 a.m. with the Mountaineer Tailgate Show (Dan Zangrilli, Dale Wolfley and Jed Drenning) leading into regular game coverage at 11 a.m. EST with Tony Caridi and Dwight Wallace on stations throughout West Virginia and online via WVUsports.com and the mobile app TuneIn.
Kickoff is set for high noon EST.
