MORGANTOWN, W.Va. - West Virginia University's Department of Intercollegiate Athletics will partner with Barton Malow and March-Westin to serve as construction managers on the Milan Puskar Stadium West Tower Project, which is set to begin after the 2026 football season.
The joint venture brings together a power team of national and local construction leadership to the project. As the construction managers, the two will oversee all construction from conception to completion, ensuring that the project is finished safely, on time and within budget. By managing the daily on-site operations, the team will be the primary liaison between WVU, architects and engineers to include preconstruction planning, cost and schedule management, procurement and coordination of onsite construction activities.
"We have experienced how special game day is at Milan Puskar Stadium, and we are excited to be a part of this partnership with West Virginia University on this renovation," said Scott Mull, Regional Executive at Barton Malow. "Our team is ready to bring the same focus and craftsmanship we've delivered on athletic facilities across the country to help create something Mountaineer fans will be proud of for generations."

The joint venture brings together complementary expertise in active WVU campus and stadium environments. March-Westin brings decades of experience delivering work at Milan Puskar Stadium and across WVU's two main campuses, while Barton Malow contributes extensive experience leading collegiate and professional stadium renovations nationwide.
"Our team is proud to partner with West Virginia University Athletics, Legends Global as the owner's representative, the SLAM Collaborative design team and Barton Malow in this joint venture to deliver a transformational renovation in Milan Puskar Stadium," said March-Westin President Jamie Ridgeway. "March-Westin's local knowledge combined with Barton Malow's national experience uniquely positions our team to successfully complete this project with minimal disruption to the fan experience."
The new West Tower secures the future of Milan Puskar Stadium and enhances one of the finest college football venues in the country. Additional premium space and seating are an investment into the long-term viability of not only WVU Athletics but the future of the facility.
"Bringing together the experience and knowledge of Barton Malow and March-Westin on this vital project for our department's future is the perfect combination," Vice President and Director of Athletics Wren Baker said. "March-Westin knows WVU and our stadium and Barton Malow has led collegiate and professional stadium renovations nationwide. It is the perfect mix of local and national expertise.
