Hendrick also serves as the staff liaison with the office of accessibility services on campus, where she ensures the student-athletes will have the proper assistance and accommodations necessary to be successful.
Prior to her current position at WVU, Hendrick was an English teacher at Woodgrove High School in Purcellville, Virginia, for three years, teaching A.P. language and composition, English 11 Academic, English 12 Inclusion and English 12 Academic. She provided academic support as a homebound instructor and served as a sponsor for numerous clubs, including the Student Government Freshman Class Council and Battle for the Books.
Hendrick graduated from Saint Vincent College in 2013 with a bachelor’s degree in English literature and minor in secondary education. She earned her graduate certification in composition studies from Indiana University East in 2015 and her master’s degree in English, also from IU-East in 2017.
