After being on the WVU creative staff as a student digital media intern since 2023, Jackson Saunders was promoted to assistant director of creative content in June 2026.
He designs content for the promotion of the football program, including a heavy emphasis on recruiting. He produces content and materials that highlight and communicate information about the program on a variety of platforms, including print, web, social media and internal team distribution.
While also an undergraduate student, Saunders spent three years as a student equipment manager.
Saunders, a native of by Fairmont, West Virginia, he was a dean’s list graduate of WVU with his bachelor’s degree in management.
