Dylan McDilda has been a member of the Mountaineer Football Staff since 2021, first as a student manager until 2024, then a graduate assistant for the past two years. He was promoted to equipment manager in July 2026.

McDilda assists with the maintenance and repair of athletic equipment, uniforms and facilities. He also assists with the equipment for game day, including all areas of players’ gear and coaches’ game-day apparel.

He works in the areas of purchasing, issuance, storage and accountability of all Nike athletic equipment, footwear and apparel. He also helps to oversee the coordination of the Coachcomm system, setting up for practices and game day.

A native of North East Maryland, McDilda graduated from West Virginia with his bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in marketing with an emphasis in digital marketing in 2024 and earned his master’s degree in sport management in May 2026.
