BIG EAST all-freshman team selected by the coaches … first collegiate punt was 48 yards against Eastern Washington …averaged 50.5 with two punts over 50 yards, including one inside the opponents’ 20-yard line against East Carolina … averaged 45.0 yards per punt on three punts at Mississippi State.
