Mountaineer Athletics Plays Host to Sixth Annual Youth Sports Day

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Get Moving! WV and Raising Cane's are teaming up with West Virginia University Athletics as hosts of the sixth annual Youth Sports Day on Saturday, Sept. 5, as the Mountaineers take on Coastal Carolina at Milan Puskar Stadium. Get Moving! WV is a local nonprofit dedicated to helping West Virginia's youth live healthy, active lives through community events, nutrition education and programs such as its annual Day of Play.
Youth Sports Day participants will receive discounted game tickets and group seating to experience the excitement together. Tickets start at $40 each. The first 100 youth participants to register will receive an exclusive WVU Youth Sports Day T-shirt, courtesy of Raising Cane's.
Youth athletes will also have the opportunity to participate in exclusive pregame activities with the Get Moving! WV team inside the Caperton Indoor Practice Facility, located adjacent to the southwest gate of Milan Puskar Stadium. Coaches, family members and friends are invited to join the group and purchase tickets at the same discounted rate.
New this year, the youth group that sells more than 100 tickets will earn an exclusive on-field experience — including two pregame field passes for an up-close look at the action before kickoff!
To purchase tickets to the event, CLICK HERE. Check in starts at 9 a.m. with pregame activities starting at 9:30 a.m. and concluding at 11:30 a.m. Kickoff is set for 12 p.m.
Parents or guardians must sign a waiver at the check in table for their child to participate.
