2026 Monster Energy Big 12 Media Days on Tuesday and Wednesday

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Coach Rich Rodriguez and West Virginia football players Jaden Bray, Nick Krahe and Geimere Latimer II will be in Frisco, Texas, on Wednesday, July 8 for the 2026 Monster Energy Big 12 Media Days taking place in the Ford Center at The Star.
The two-day event begins on Tuesday with players and coaches from Arizona State, Baylor, BYU, UCF, Colorado, Houston, Oklahoma State and Texas Tech up first.
In addition to West Virginia, Wednesday's participants include Arizona, Cincinnati, Iowa State, Kansas, Kansas State, TCU and Utah.
Big 12 commissioner Brett Yormark's yearly media address on the main stage will kick off the event Tuesday morning.
ESPNU's live television and streaming coverage with Kevin Connors, analysts Dusty Dvoracek and Louis Riddick and field reporters Jen Lada and Sydney Jones, will begin at 11 a.m. ET and will be simulcast on Big 12 Studios.
ESPN2 will also air a portion of the Day 1 activities.
Rich Rodriguez's press conference on the main stage will take place at 2:20 p.m. ET on Wednesday afternoon.
Arizona State and Arizona are bringing the most players with seven, while the Mountaineers are bringing the fewest with three.
Bray, a 6-foot-2, 209-pound fifth-year senior, was an attendee at last year's media day before seeing his season end prematurely in week two at Ohio University. He caught seven passes for 95 yards in a game and a half-worth of action before his injury.
The former Oklahoma State transfer is one of the few Neal Brown holdovers left in the program.
Another is junior offensive lineman Nick Krahe, an Erie, Pennsylvania, resident and a returning starter who was used on a team-best 873 offensive snaps in 2025. He played a season-high 97 snaps against rival Pitt and had 11 games with at last 60 snaps.
Latimore, a senior transfer from Wisconsin, was brought in to bolster a Mountaineer secondary that allowed 265.4 yards per game through the air last season.
The Fairburn, Georgia, resident saw action in all 12 games last year for the Badgers, making three starts, and was in on 28 tackles with a forced fumble. Latimore is reuniting with Rodriguez after the two were together at Jacksonville State in 2024.
That season, Latimer was responsible for 46 tackles, three interceptions and six pass breakups in helping the Gamecocks to a 9-5 record and a Conference-USA championship.
He is the older brother of promising Mountaineer freshman running back Amari Latimer.
