
2026 Women’s Soccer Nonconference Schedule Released

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The West Virginia University Department of Intercollegiate Athletics has announced the 2026 women's soccer nonconference schedule.
The Mountaineers' 2026 nonconference slate features seven contests, including five home matches at Dick Dlesk Soccer Stadium in Morgantown. WVU will kick against three opponents who competed in the 2025 NCAA Division I Women's Soccer Tournament last fall and includes home contests against rivals Penn State and Marshall.
West Virginia's 2026 fall season officially begins on Thursday, Aug. 13, when the Mountaineers welcome Dayton to kick off the 2026-27 WVU Athletics season. The following week, the Mountaineers host Penn State on Thursday, Aug. 20, as the Nittany Lions come to Dick Dlesk Soccer Stadium for the first time since 2023.
The three-game, season-opening homestand concludes against Duquesne on Sunday, Aug. 23.
WVU will then hit the road for the first time on Thursday, Aug. 27, traveling to Princeton, New Jersey, to take on the Tigers for the first time since 2017. The Mountaineers conclude their only nonconference road swing on Sunday, Aug. 30, taking on Army in West Point, New York.
In-state rival Marshall will visit Dick Dlesk Soccer Stadium for the first time since 2011 on Sunday, Sept. 6, before West Virginia wraps up nonconference action against UCONN on Sunday, Sept. 13.
WVU's Big 12 Conference schedule was released on Feb. 16, and the Mountaineers will open their conference slate at home against Baylor on Friday, Sept. 18.
