Women’s Soccer Announces Spring Schedule

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The West Virginia University women's soccer team's spring schedule has been announced.
Highlighted by a neutral-site match against Penn State at Highmark Stadium in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, the Mountaineers are slated for five spring matches, two of which will take place in Morgantown.
The spring season kicks off on Saturday, March 28, when the Mountaineers travel to Pittsburgh to take on the Panthers at 5 p.m. ET. A week later, WVU hosts Ohio State in its first home contest of the spring on Saturday, April 4, at 1 p.m., inside Dick Dlesk Soccer Stadium.
On Saturday, April 11, the Mountaineers continue the run of regional opponents when they take on Penn State. The game will be played at Highmark Stadium in Pittsburgh, the home of Pittsburgh Riveters SC of the USL W League. The match will be the inaugural contest of the Riveters Classic, and tickets can be purchased through the Highmark Stadium box office.
The following weekend, the Mountaineers trek to Blacksburg, Virginia, on Saturday, April 18, to take on Virginia Tech in its final road contest of the spring. Kickoff is set for 11:30 a.m.
Concluding the spring slate at home, Tennessee will come to Morgantown on Saturday, April 25, for an 11 a.m. kick.
The Mountaineers concluded their 30th season of competition in 2025, finishing the year with a 14-3-4 overall record, as well as an 8-0-3 record in Big 12 Conference play. WVU's 14 wins last season marked its most since 2018, while the eight conference wins marked the squads second straight season eight Big 12 wins. WVU returned to the NCAA Tournament for the 24th time in program history, advancing to the Second Round.
