MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Forward Taylor White of the West Virginia University women's soccer team has signed a professional contract with Racing Louisville FC in the NWSL, the club announced on Wednesday.
White becomes the 45th professional Mountaineer in program history, as well as the first to sign a pro contract following the 2025 season.
The Cincinnati, Ohio, native capped a spectacular senior campaign with a nod on the 2025 United Soccer Coaches All-America Third Team in December. She also was named to the All-Big 12 First Team and the United Soccer Coaches All-Midwest Region Team earlier in the year.
She finished her final season leading West Virginia's offense with 10 goals, 10 assists and 30 points. Her 10 assists this year are now tied for fourth in single-season program history. She also paced the squad with four game winners. White tallied three braces in 2025, the most for a player in a single season since Frances Silva recorded four in 2012. She finished her career with 26 goals, 17 assists and 69 points, along with 4,164 minutes played.
Previously, White also was recognized on the All-Big 12 Second Team in 2024 and received multiple Big 12 Player of the Week and WVU Student-Athlete of the Week honors throughout her career.
White graduated with her bachelor's degree in sports and exercise psychology in December.
