PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – Five wrestlers from the West Virginia University Wrestling Team are competing in the 2025 NCAA Division I Wrestling Championships in Philadelphia at the Wells Fargo Center from March 20-22.
For the third consecutive season, West Virginia has five wrestlers competing at the NCAA Championships. WVU is represented by senior
Jett Strickenberger (125), redshirt junior
Jordan Titus (141), fifth-year
Peyton Hall (165), redshirt senior
Dennis Robin (184) and redshirt sophomore
Ian Bush (197).
Hall becomes the first Mountaineer to compete at five NCAA Championships as he looks to earn his third All-America honor of his career. Last season, Hall finished seventh in the 165-pound weight class. He is the only Mountaineer competing at this year's championships who has placed within the top eight.
Hall currently ranks third in program history in all-time tournament wins with 12. Greg Jones holds the top spot with 17 wins at the NCAA Championships.
Last season, West Virginia finished 17
th overall at the championships, marking the program's first top-25 finish since 2015 (20
th). WVU has not finished in the top-25 in consecutive seasons since 2004-05.

Session one on Thursday, March 20, will begin at noon ET on ESPNU. Session two will begin at 7 p.m. on ESPN. Session three on Friday, March 21, will begin at noon on ESPNU and session four will start at 8 p.m. on ESPN2. Session five will begin at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 22, on ESPNU and session six will start at 7 p.m. on ESPN.
All sessions will also be live-streamed on ESPN+.
