The WVU Wrestling Pavilion provides an incredible home for the WVU wrestling program. Containing space for four mats, a weight room, locker room, offices for the coaching staff and a lounge, the pavilion has everything a wrestler could possibly need.
The pavilion underwent renovations in 2025, updating the overall interior design of the facility with a new TV in the entryway and new graphics on the walls throughout the common area.
When not working out in the Athletic Performance Center, student-athletes have a dedicated weightlifting space fitted with treadmills, stationary bikes and weights. The lounge provides space for student-athletes to relax with a small kitchen area, TV, massage chairs and couches highlighting the space.
To top off the project, WVU was home to the United States Olympic Team wrestlers training for the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, a feat made possible by USA Wrestling and the Sunkist Kids.
Funding for the project was made possible by a benevolent gift from the Hazel Ruby McQuain Trust, helping the dream complex become a reality.
