Strickenberger Named Student-Athlete of the Week

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Jett Strickenberger of the West Virginia University wrestling team has been named the WVU Student-Athlete of the Week, presented by University Apartments.
Strickenberger claimed the 125-pound title at the Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invitational, playing a key role in WVU's fourth-place team finish, the Mountaineers' best result at the event since 2002.
Seeded fourth, the Colorado native put together an impressive run through the bracket, earning wins over the No. 27, No. 10 and No. 15 ranked wrestlers to secure the championship.
