Scheer Named Student-Athlete of the Week

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Sophomore Isaac Scheer of the No. 16 West Virginia University men's soccer team has been named the WVU Student-Athlete of the Week, presented by University Apartments.
Scheer scored his first goal of the season against Old Dominion in the Sun Belt quarterfinals. He then converted what turned out to be the clinching penalty kick in the shootout to advance the Mountaineers to the next round.
WVU will take on Marshall, Wednesday evening in the Sun Belt semifinals. Kickoff from Dick Dlesk Soccer Stadium is set for 7 p.m.
