Mountaineers in Arlington for 2022 Big 12 Media Days

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Coach Neal Brown and players Bryce Ford-Wheaton, Zach Frazier, Dante Stills and Charles Woods will be participating in day one of the Big 12 Media Days held at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, July 13 and 14.
Senior wide receiver Sam James will also be in Arlington Wednesday representing WVU as part of the Big 12's Champions For Life Campaign. This program highlights student-athletes who best represent their athletic programs.
WVU director of athletics Shane Lyons is in Arlington as well taking part in the event.
Wednesday activities begin at 9:30 a.m. ET with Brett Yormark scheduled to give his first public news conference as the Big 12's new commissioner. Baylor president Linda Livingstone is also slated to speak.
Coaches news conferences start at 11:35 a.m. ET with Baylor's Dave Aranda, followed by Kansas' Lance Leipold (12:05), West Virginia's Neal Brown (12:35), Kansas State's Chris Klieman (1:05) and Oklahoma State's Mike Gundy (1:35).
All press conferences will be carried live on Big 12 Now on ESPN+ and Big12sports.com.
West Virginia's player media schedule begins at 11 a.m. ET with CBS/Longhorn Network interviews and continues with Fox Sports, ESPN, ESPNU and the kids' reporter program consisting of students from St. Philip's School and Community Center in Dallas.
Following lunch, the afternoon session consists of player photos ops, live radio interviews and concluding with the player and coach breakout media sessions.
West Virginia will provide daylong coverage on all of its social platforms as well as WVUsports.com.
The media day event concludes on Thursday with Oklahoma, Texas Tech, Iowa State, TCU and Texas.
West Virginia opens the 2022 season at Pitt on Thursday, Sept. 1, at 7 p.m. at newly named Acrisure Stadium.
Season tickets, mini-tickets and single-game tickets for West Virginia's six-game home schedule are currently on sale through the Mountaineer Ticket Office and can be purchased by logging on to WVUGAME.com or by calling 1-800-WVU GAME.
