
2019 Promotional Slate Unveiled

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – A thrilling and engaging promotional slate is scheduled for the West Virginia University women's soccer team's return to Dick Dlesk Soccer Stadium this season.
"Dick Dlesk Soccer Stadium is sacred ground for this team," Mountaineer coach Nikki Izzo-Brown said. "We love playing in front of Mountaineer Nation and representing WVU. We cannot wait to open our 2019 home season on Aug. 23, and we look forward to having all our great fans behind us cheering from the stands."
The Mountaineers open their 2019 home season against Duquesne on Friday, Aug. 23, at 7 p.m., and it is the first of two Dollar Days planned for the year. All tickets and select concessions will be available for $1 each. Additionally, it's Poster Night, and all fans in attendance will receive a free Mountaineer schedule poster featuring the team's four seniors.
Barks 'n Brews will come to Dick Dlesk Soccer Stadium for the Mountaineers' contest against High Point on Friday, Aug. 30, at 7 p.m. Fans wishing to bring their dog to the stadium must bring a completed attendance waiver with them. Dog Day attendance waivers can be found at WVUsports.com. The first 100 dogs in attendance will receive a WVU dog bone-shaped tennis ball. Friday Night Happy Hour at Dick Dlesk Soccer Stadium also will debut that evening, with half-priced beverages available from 6-7 p.m.
A Gold Rush is set for the Mountaineers' match against Penn State on Friday, Sept. 6, at 7 p.m., and the first 500 fans in attendance will receive a gold jersey towel. All fans are encouraged to wear gold, and it's also Friday Night Happy Hour.
WVU Faculty/Staff night will be held Thursday, Sept. 12, when the Mountaineers take on Stony
Brook at 7 p.m. Free admission will be given to all WVU faculty and staff members who show their WVU employee ID. It's also Fan Appreciation Night, with opportunities for fans to win prizes throughout the evening.
School Night is scheduled on Friday, Sept. 20, at 7 p.m., for the Mountaineers' match against Fairleigh Dickinson. All local elementary schools will be given complimentary tickets and WVU pencils. It's also Friday Night Happy Hour.
Youth Soccer Day is set for Sunday, Sept. 22, with first kick against Bowling Green at 1 p.m. Fans who wear a youth soccer jersey will earn free admission, and a free postgame clinic for children ages 12 and under will follow the match. The Mountaineers will Lace Up 4 Pediatric Cancer and don gold shoelaces during the match to raise money for WVU Medicine Children's.
The women's soccer team will meet with fans and sign autographs following the Bowling Green match and again following the Oklahoma match on Oct. 20.
The Mountaineers open their Big 12 Conference home slate against Iowa State on Friday, Sept. 27, at 7 p.m. It's Diversity and Inclusion Night, and fans are encouraged to wear their favorite international soccer team jersey to receive $3 admission. It's also Friday Night Happy Hour.
Soctoberfest returns on Oct. 10, as the Mountaineers kick against Texas Tech at 7 p.m. The first 200 fans will receive a WVU koozie, and there will be a variety of Oktoberfest-themed food options offered at the concessions stands.
Social Media Night will take place on Thursday, Oct. 17, when the Mountaineers square off against Oklahoma State at 7 p.m. Follow the women's soccer team on Twitter for chances to win prizes by solving clues and riddles posted by @WVUWomensSoccer.

It is WVU's Pink Match for breast cancer awareness, and all fans are encouraged to wear pink, as the team will celebrate its annual fundraising efforts for the Mary Babb Randolph Cancer Center. Chuck-a-Duck will be held for the first time during halftime, and a pink jersey auction will take place throughout the match. It's also a Dollar Day, and all tickets and selection concessions will be available for $1 each, courtesy of WVU Medicine. Additionally, all fans will receive a free pink shaker.
WVU concludes its regular-season slate against TCU on Thursday, Oct. 31, at 7 p.m. The Mountaineers will recognize the team's four seniors prior to the match and celebrate Halloween by offering free admission and candy to fans who come dressed in a costume. A costume contest also will be held during the game.

Tickets for all regular-season home matches are now on sale at WVUGAME.com. The WVU Soccer Scarf ticket package, which includes 10 tickets to be used at any women's or men's regular-season soccer match and an exclusive 2019 WVU soccer scarf, also is available for purchase at WVUGAME.com. Packages are just $35 and are available while supplies last.
Fans also can now purchase tickets online in advance for any home match by visiting WVUGAME.com and selecting the Print-At-Home or Mobile Delivery options.
