MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – An exciting and engaging promotional slate is scheduled for the nationally ranked West Virginia University women's soccer team's return to Dick Dlesk Soccer Stadium this season.

The Mountaineers (0-1-1) open their 2018 home season against Xavier on Thursday, Aug. 30, at 7 p.m., and it is the first of two Dollar Days planned for the year. All tickets and select concessions will be available for $1 each. Additionally, it's Poster Night, and all fans in attendance will receive a free Mountaineer schedule poster featuring the team's nine seniors.
The popular Dog Day at Dick Dlesk Soccer Stadium returns for the Mountaineers' contest against Georgetown on Sunday, Sept. 2, at 3 p.m. Fans wishing to bring their dog to the stadium must bring a completed attendance waiver with them. Dog Day attendance waivers can be found
HERE. The first 100 dogs in attendance will receive a WVU dog bandana, and the first 250 fans in attendance will receive WVU sunglasses.
The Mountaineers will meet with fans and sign autographs following the Georgetown match and again following the Saint Francis (Pa.) match on Sept. 16.
A Gold Rush is set for the Mountaineers' match against Boston University on Thursday, Sept. 13, at 7 p.m., and the first 500 fans in attendance will receive a gold shaker and a foam finger. All fans are encouraged to wear gold. Additionally, it's WVU Faculty/Staff night, and free admission will be given to all WVU faculty and staff members who show their WVU employee ID.
Youth Soccer Day is set for Sept. 16, with first kick against Saint Francis (Pa.) at 1 p.m. Fans who wear a youth soccer jersey will earn free admittance, and a free postgame clinic for children ages 13 and under will follow the match. Additionally, the first 250 fans will receive a WVU jersey koozie.
The Mountaineers open their Big 12 Conference home slate and will recognize Mental Health Awareness on Friday, Sept. 28, against Kansas State at 7 p.m. The first 1,000 fans in attendance will receive a team wristband. Happy Hour at Dick Dlesk Soccer Stadium also will debut that evening, with half-priced beverages available from 6-7 p.m.
Soctoberfest returns on Oct. 5, as the Mountaineers kick against Baylor, the reigning Big 12 Conference Tournament champions, at 7 p.m. The first 300 fans will receive a WVU stein, and Happy Hour prices will be in effect from 6-7 p.m. Additionally, there will be a variety of Oktoberfest-themed food options offered.
Multiple promotions are set for the Mountaineers' match against Texas on Sunday, Oct. 7, at 1 p.m. It is WVU's Pink Match for breast cancer awareness, and all fans are encouraged to wear pink, as the team will celebrate its annual fundraising efforts for the Mary Babb Randolph Cancer Center at halftime. It's also a Dollar Day, and all tickets and selection concession will be available for $1 each courtesy of WVU Medicine. The first 1,000 fans in attendance will receive a free pink shaker.
Due to the WVU football game on Oct. 25, the Mountaineers also will celebrate the team's nine seniors following the Texas match.
WVU concludes its home regular-season slate against Kansas on Thursday, Oct. 25, at 7 p.m. Admission will be free courtesy of WVU Medicine. It's Mountaineer Week, and the WVU Bluegrass Band will perform at halftime. Additionally, fans are encouraged to arrive early, as the team will honor its nine seniors prior to kick.
