MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The West Virginia University football coaching staff has named its award winners for outstanding performances in the Mountaineers' 38-22 win against Kansas on Saturday, Oct. 6.
Offensive Champion – Leddie Brown; Defensive Champion – Derrek Pitts Jr.; Special Teams Champion – JoVanni Stewart; Offensive Scout Team Champion – Zach Davis; Defensive Scout Team Champion – James Gmiter; Special Teams Scout Team Champion – Devan Wade.
No. 6/6 West Virginia travels to Ames, Iowa, to face Iowa State on Saturday, Oct. 13, at 7 p.m., ET, at Jack Trice Stadium. The game will be televised on FS1.
The Mountaineers will play host to Baylor on Thursday, Oct. 25 at 7 p.m., ET. Tickets are still available and can be purchased at WVUGAME.com and 1-800-WVU GAME.
