Weather Pushes Saturday’s First Pitch up to 2 p.m.

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Due to potential inclement weather in the Morgantown area, the West Virginia University baseball team’s game against Texas on Saturday, May 7, will now begin at 2 p.m. ET.
The series will still begin tonight at 6:30 p.m. ET. Saturday’s first pitch has been moved up to 2 p.m., from 4 p.m. Sunday’s start time remains scheduled for 1 p.m. at this time. Should the weather forecast necessitate additional changes, fans are encouraged to stay tuned to WVUSports.com.
Fans with tickets to Saturday’s game who cannot make it to the earlier start can exchange their ticket for a future game at the box office at Monongalia County Ballpark.
Friday will feature postgame fireworks, presented by Coca-Cola. Saturday is Family Day, where fans can purchase four tickets and get a $10 concession voucher for just $25. Sunday is Kids’ Day and Mother’s Day. Any mom that brings a child to the game will receive a $3 ticket at the gate. Following the game, kids will have the opportunity to run the bases and get autographs from their favorite players.
