Baseball Flex Plan Ticket Packages Now On Sale

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (March 28, 2016) – Flex plan ticket packages for West Virginia University baseball home games are now on sale.
The flex plan, available for $40 per package, features 10 ticket vouchers which can be redeemed in any combination for WVU’s remaining 26 home games at Monongalia County Ballpark. Flex plans must be exchanged for an actual reserved seat ticket at the Monongalia County Ballpark ticket windows. All games are subject to availability.
The flex plan ticket package provides fans with the flexibility to redeem all 10 vouchers for tickets to one game, one voucher for 10 different games or any combination in between.
Fans can purchase flex plan packages by calling 1-800-WVU GAME, purchasing tickets at WVUGAME.com or visiting the Mountaineer Ticket Office at Gate A of Monongalia County Ballpark.
The Mountaineers will play 26 more home games this season at Monongalia County Ballpark, BaseballParks.com’s Ballpark of the Year for 2015.
The exciting home schedule continues this week with the Big 12 home opener vs. Oklahoma State this weekend after a midweek series vs. Canisius on Tuesday and Wednesday. The home schedule also includes weekend series against reigning Big 12 Tournament champion Texas, as well as Baylor and Kansas State. WVU also hosts nonconference matchups vs. Marshall, Pitt, Maryland and Virginia Tech.
WVU returns to Monongalia County Ballpark after a total of 33,158 fans, an average of over 1,500 per game, cheered on the Mountaineers in the park’s inaugural season.
A steady climb in attendance in WVU’s first three seasons in the Big 12 Conference has proved a pivotal home-field advantage. In the Mountaineers’ first three seasons in the league, coach Randy Mazey has guided the team to a winning record at home and a Big 12 Championship berth in each season.
Single game and flex plan tickets for the 2016 WVU baseball season are on sale now, and tickets remain available for this weekend’s home opening series.
