Six Invited to the NFL Combine

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Six former West Virginia football players are among the 300-plus players invited to the 2016 NFL Combine, Feb. 23-29, at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, the National Football League announced Thursday afternoon.
Safety KJ Dillon, safety Karl Joseph, linebacker Nick Kwiatkoski, punter Nick O’Toole, running back Wendell Smallwood and cornerback Daryl Worley will be participating.
The invites mark the 15th straight season West Virginia has sent a player to the Combine. Additionally, this marks the third time WVU has sent six players to the event, the most in school history.
On-field workouts for running backs and punters at the 2016 NFL Combine will be held on Friday, Feb. 26, while linebackers will be on the field on Saturday, Feb. 28 and defensive backs will participate on Monday, Feb. 29.
