Zack Motley is in his first year as a recruiting coordinator for the West Virginia football program.
Motley assists with all areas of the day-to-day operations of the football program, contributing to the recruiting efforts of the program, arranging travel and meal logistics for all prospect visits. He provides campus tours and leads informational sessions for prospects and their families.
He assists with creating content to send to prospective student-athletes through mail and social media platforms and monitors their social media accounts for content.
He assists with planning, travel coordination and record documentation for the coaching staff, planning and execution of the high school coaches’ clinic and summer camps and oversight of student volunteers and interns. He assists with the coordination of the Exceptional Student-Athlete Disability Insurance program and College Advisory Committee evaluation player requests for student-athletes with professional potential.
During home games, his duties include game operations and assisting with recruiting coordination, assisting with game-day schedules, postgame meals and ticket and pass distribution. On the road, he is involved with road game operations, including ticket and pass distribution, travel arrangements and hotel logistics.
He served as an offensive graduate assistant coach at West Virginia for two years (2014-15) and was the running backs coach at Angelo State in 2013.
Motley, a native of Dallas, Texas, received his bachelor’s degree in kinesiology from Stephen F. Austin in 2012.
