Tori Brown joined the Mountaineer Football staff in July 2022, as a sports dietitian, working with the football team.
At WVU, Brown will assist the director of sports nutrition with assembling the individual nutrition plans for each player, monitoring their nutritional intake and educating them on proper nutrition methods. She also will assist the director in developing all menus and overseeing the fueling and refueling stations.
Brown graduated from Boston University with a bachelor’s degree in health sciences and recently completed her master’s degree in dietetics and nutrition from Pitt.
While at Pitt, Brown served as a sports nutrition intern working with football in 2018-20 and with basketball in 2020. She oversaw the operation of Fitzgerald and Peterson Sports Complex Fueling stations that served 300+ student athletes. She managed a volunteer force of 20+ students to service fueling stations and individual teams in pre, post and during events. She also served as a classroom assistant, teaching undergraduate and graduate exercise physiology classes.
