Bradley Latchford joined the Mountaineer staff as an assistant director of athletic training in May 2026.
He arrived in Morgantown after spending two seasons with NC State as an assistant athletic trainer fellow. In this role, Latchford assisted in overseeing concussion assessments, MAT clinical immersion and undergraduate students, all emergency equipment was functional and up-to-date, early travel and hotel setups, weekly in-house chiropractor clinics, injury tracking, muscle testing and communication with players through injuries.
Latchford completed clinical rotations with UCF men’s basketball, golf, football and soccer teams, the Tennessee Titans during preseason camp, Apopka High School in Apopka, Florida, and Florida State football, swimming, baseball and softball teams. He also holds certifications in advanced sports trauma management, dry needling, CPR, AED, behavioral health, bloodborne pathogens and Stop the Bleed. He is a National Athletic Trainers Association member.
He earned his bachelor’s degree in athletic training from Florida State in 2022 and his master’s degree in athletic training from UCF in 2024.
