2004 (So.): Received a medical redshirt coming off knee surgery.

2003 (Fr.): Worked his way into the lineup as a true freshman at defensive end ... 10 tackles appearing in seven games ... The Sporting News BIG EAST all-freshman team ... “best conditioned” of his weight group during the preseason ... three tackles in the win at Boston College ... made his first start against Pitt, but suffered a serious knee injury in that game ... had surgery in December ... received the 2003 Iron Mountaineer Award by team vote as the top performer in the winter workout program ... won his position group as the “dominator” during winter conditioning ... ranked best among the linemen in 225 lifts (24), squats (545) and hang cleans (370) ... came to WVU in Jan. 2003.
