Defense finished No. 11 nationally in scoring defense and No. 16 in pass efficiency defense.

Marshall

CJ Spillman was No. 3 in Conference USA and tied for No. 12 nationally in tackles and tied for No. 1 in forced fumbles in the league.

NC State

Three of his players were selected in the first round of the NFL draft, including Mario Williams, who was the No. 1 overall selection in the 2006 draft.
