Date for 2028 Tennessee Football Game Moved

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The West Virginia University Department of Intercollegiate Athletics, the University of Tennessee Athletics Department and the Charlotte Sports Foundation have announced that the date for the Duke's Mayo Classic between WVU and Tennessee, originally scheduled for Sept. 2, 2028, in Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina, has been moved to Aug. 26, 2028.

This game marks the second time the two schools will play and second time in Charlotte. They opened the 2018 season at Bank of America Stadium with the Mountaineers defeating the Volunteers 40-14.
