MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – West Virginia Athletics is excited to welcome Mountaineer fans back to Almost Heaven Village for the 2026 football season, beginning Saturday, Sept. 5, when West Virginia hosts Coastal Carolina at Milan Puskar Stadium.
This season, Almost Heaven Village will debut in a new location on the North Lawn of the stadium adjacent to the popular Blue Lot, creating a more centralized pregame destination for Mountaineer fans of all ages.
Almost Heaven Village will open at 8:30 a.m. and run until 11:30 a.m. ahead of West Virginia's noon kickoff against Coastal Carolina. Admission to the village is free and all fans are invited to take part in the pregame festivities.
The new location will feature a variety of activities and entertainment throughout the morning, including food trucks, inflatables, a photo booth, caricature artist, balloon artists, face painting, temporary tattoo artist and sponsor activations. Fans will also have the opportunity to interact with members of the WVU spirit squads and the Mountaineer mascot before heading into Milan Puskar Stadium.
Almost Heaven Village will continue to serve as a pregame gathering place throughout the 2026 home football schedule, with programming and activities varying by game. The new North Lawn location provides a centralized space for Mountaineer fans to come together and enjoy the excitement of game day before making their way into Milan Puskar Stadium.
Fans are encouraged to arrive early, enjoy the activities and help kick off the 2026 home football season in Almost Heaven.
Additional programming details and game-by-game information will be available at WVUsports.com during game week.
Fans can still secure their seats for the 2026 home opener against Coastal Carolina, with single-game tickets available now. The game will feature All White for 5, as Mountaineer Nation is encouraged to wear white in celebration of the retirement of Mountaineer great Pat White's No. 5. Fans looking to experience the entire home schedule can also purchase the 304 Mobile Pass, WVU's most affordable season ticket option. For $304 plus fees, fans receive a ticket to all seven home games — less than $50 per game — with a different seat in an upper-level or south end zone section assigned for each game. There is no Mountaineer Athletic Club per-seat contribution required. For tickets and additional information, visit WVUGAME.com.
