MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The No. 6 West Virginia University men's soccer team has announced a schedule change for Friday, Sept. 12.
Due to the re-sodding of the field at Dick Dlesk Soccer Stadium, the originally scheduled game between the Mountaineers and California Baptist on Sept. 12 has been canceled. West Virginia will now travel to Longwood University for a game against the Lancers on that day with kickoff scheduled for 5 p.m.
Fans with tickets to the originally scheduled game against California Baptist can exchange for a ticket of equal or lesser value to a future home game, excluding the game against Marshall on Oct. 31. Tickets can be exchanged at the Mountaineer Ticket Office at the WVU Coliseum or by calling 1-800-WVU-GAME.
West Virginia will be back on the pitch, Sunday, Sept. 7, at No. 22 George Mason. Kickoff is set for 4 p.m.
