
Mountaineers Finish Regular Season on the Road Against Cincinnati

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The West Virginia University women's tennis team finishes the 2025 regular season on the road against the Cincinnati Bearcats on Saturday, April 12, at 1 p.m. ET at the Trabert-Talbert Tennis Center in Cincinnati.
West Virginia (7-16, 1-11 Big 12) has lost three matches in a row. Most recently, the Mountaineers fell against No. 15 Texas Tech and Colorado at home.

Graduate student Julie Bousseau leads the Mountaineers in singles play with seven victories. Three other Mountaineers have at least five singles wins this season, including seniors Mille Haagensen and Michaela Kucharova, redshirt junior Maja Dodik and freshman Laura Villanueva Morillo.
In doubles, the pairing of Kucharova and Villaneuva Morillo sits at 8-4 on the year to lead WVU.
West Virginia is 11-7 all-time against Cincinnati in a series dating back to 1978. WVU defeated the Bearcats, 7-0, last season in Morgantown.
