
Recker Places 12th in 3-meter at NCAA Zone Championships

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Sophomore Owen Recker of the West Virginia University men's and women's swimming and diving team placed 12th in the men's 3-meter with 662.25 points at the 2025 NCAA Zone A Diving Championships on Tuesday in Piscataway, New Jersey.

The score marked a personal best at the zone championships for Recker and it was his first appearance of his career in any final at zones.
On the women's side, senior Sarah Krusinski finished 45th on the 1-meter (218.45 points).
Recker, Krusinski and junior Abigail Sullivan will compete in the platform event to wrap up the zone championships on Wednesday.
