
Four Mountaineers to Compete at NCAA Zone A Diving Championships

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Four divers from the West Virginia University men's and women's swimming and diving team will compete at the 2025 NCAA Zone A Diving Championships from March 10-12, at Rutgers Aquatics Center in Piscataway, New Jersey.

West Virginia will be represented by freshman Levi Hellmann, sophomore Owen Recker, junior Abigail Sullivan and senior Sarah Krusinski.
Hellman, Recker and Krusinski qualified for the 1-meter, 3-meter and platform events. Sullivan will compete in the 3-meter and platform events.
Last season, Sullivan became the first female diver from WVU to qualify for the NCAA Championships on platform. Sullivan placed fifth in the platform event at zones with 465.45 total points.
This marks the fourth time that Krusinski has qualified for the zone diving championships. Krusinski placed 17th in the platform at zones last year.
Recker makes his second consecutive appearance at the zone diving championships. Recker had an impressive showing at the 2025 Big 12 Swimming and Diving Championships as he won the B final of the platform event and placed third in the B final of the 3-meter.
Hellmann and Recker were part of the trio that placed third in the men's team diving event at the conference championships.
