Recker Qualifies for 2025 NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Sophomore Owen Recker of the West Virginia University men's and women's swimming and diving team qualified for the 2025 NCAA Division I Swimming and Diving Championships on Wednesday.

Recker placed fourth in the platform event at the NCAA Zone A Diving Championships with 634.60 points to qualify for the NCAA Championships. Recker also qualified on 3-meter after placing 12th with 662.25 points on Tuesday.
Recker will head to his first NCAA Championships and is the first male diver to qualify for the championships since 2022.
Junior Abigail Sullivan placed 15th in the women's platform final with 436.80 points. Senior Sarah Krusinski finished 22nd in the prelims with 186.60 total points.
The men's swimming and diving championships will be at Weyerhaeuser Aquatic Center in Federal Way, Washington, from March 26-29.
