
WVU Hosts Toledo, Temple as it Looks to Extend Win Streak

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The West Virginia University women's tennis team hosts Toledo and Temple on Saturday, Feb. 15, at Summit Tennis Academy in Morgantown.
West Virginia (4-4) faces Toledo at 10 a.m. ET and Temple at 3 p.m.

The Mountaineers swept Cleveland State and Mount St. Mary's in their last outing to end their four-match losing streak. In the wins, freshman Laura Villanueva Morillo shined as she finished undefeated in singles play.
The doubles pairing of senior Mille Haagensen and freshman Lyla Byers has had an up-and-down season so far. Against Cleveland State, the pairing was dominant as it won 6-3.
West Virginia is 10-2 all-time against Toledo. The Mountaineers beat the Rockets last season, 4-3.
WVU is 10-9 all-time against Temple. West Virginia last faced Temple in 2023 as it defeated the Owls, 4-0.
The matches will be streamed on Track Tennis.
