
Three Mountaineers Win Events Against George Washington

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Three student-athletes from the West Virginia University men's and women's diving team won events against George Washington on Friday at The Peak Health Aquatic Center at Mylan Park in Morgantown.
Freshman Stevi Chalemou, sophomore Levi Hellmann and senior Abigail Sullivan each earned wins for West Virginia in the diving well.
Sullivan won the women's 1-meter with 275.78 points. She also finished second on platform with 241.95 points. Chalemou won on platform for the Mountaineers with 252.30 points.
On the men's side, Hellmann scored 296.33 points to take first on 1-meter while placing second on 3-meter with 307.80 points. West Virginia did not have a male diver compete on platform.
West Virginia will compete on Saturday, Jan. 10, against Pitt in Morgantown.
